Terms and conditions

Before using our services, we ask that you carefully read the following terms and conditions that govern our relationship with you, the customer. By using our services, you agree to and commit to comply with the following terms:

1. Reservations:

1.1. Reservations and/or quotes for our tourist transportation services are made exclusively through:

      • Website (www.cistransfers.com)
      • WhatsApp (+52 998 111 8927)
      • Official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CisTransfers).

1.2. The prices of our services are subject to seasonal changes; however, customers who have made a prior reservation will be guaranteed the price agreed upon at the time of booking.

2. Changes:

2.1. All changes are subject to availability.

2.2 For changes to the date and/or time of pick-up at no cost, requests must be made at least 1 day (24 hours) in advance of the scheduled pick-up time. If we are unable to operate the service according to the requested change, the customer will be entitled to a full refund of the cost paid for our service only.

2.3. For changes to the pickup date and/or time requested less than 1 day (24 hours) prior to the scheduled pickup time, the customer will be charged a penalty of 25% of the cost of the service. If we are unable to provide the service according to the requested change, the customer will be entitled to a 50% refund on the cost paid for our service only.

2.4. For changes made at the time of boarding without prior notification, CisTransfers reserves the right to continue or cancel the service depending on the situation. If the service continues, the customer will have to pay a penalty of 25% of the cost of the service. If the service cannot be provided due to the situation, the service will be canceled without any refund.

2.5. For route changes requested at least 1 day (24 hours) prior to the scheduled pick-up time, the corresponding adjustment will be applied to the original fare, taking into account the new distance between the origin and destination. If the service cannot be operated according to the requested change, the customer will be entitled to a full refund of the original cost paid.

2.6. For route changes requested less than 1 day (24 hours) prior to the scheduled pick-up time, the corresponding adjustment will be applied to the original fare, taking into account the new distance between the origin and destination + a 25% penalty on the updated service cost. If the service cannot be operated according to the requested change, the customer will be entitled to a 50% refund on the original cost paid.

2.7. If the number of passengers increases and a second vehicle is required, the customer must make a second reservation at the current price listed on the website.

3. Cancellations and Refunds:

3.1. Cancellations must be requested at least 1 day (24 hours) prior to the scheduled pick-up time to be eligible for a full refund.

3.2. If the customer cancels less than 1 day (24 hours) prior to the service pick-up time, a penalty equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the service will be applied.

3.3. CisTransfers reserves the right to cancel or modify a tourist transportation service due to adverse weather conditions, force majeure situations, or safety reasons. In such cases, a full refund of the cost paid for our service only or a rescheduling of the service will be offered, depending on the customer’s preference.

4. Customer Responsibilities:

4.1. Provide accurate and up-to-date information when making your transportation reservation, including: origin, destination, date, pick-up time, number of passengers, passenger contact details, alternate contact number (companion, family member, or friend), flight numbers, and any special requirements.

4.2. Contact us via WhatsApp upon arrival and/or departure from Cancun International Airport.

4.3. Arrive at the designated meeting point for the start of the transportation service. Unjustified delays may result in loss of service without refund.

4.4. During the transportation service, customers must follow the driver’s instructions and regulations and respect the local and national regulations in force in the places visited. In the event of direct or indirect damage to the driver and/or the vehicle, the incident will be reported to the relevant authorities and the service will be terminated.

5. Responsibilities of CisTransfers:

5.1. Attempt to contact the customer through the means provided by them to coordinate their arrival and/or departure from Cancun International Airport.

5.2. Have a vehicle available upon the passenger’s arrival and/or departure at Cancun International Airport.

5.3. Wait for the customer for the standard amount of time, depending on the type of service contracted:

    • For international arrivals (airport transfers), the vehicle will wait for the passenger for 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes) from the flight’s landing time.
    • For domestic arrivals (airport transfers), the vehicle will wait for the passenger for 1 hour (60 minutes) from the flight’s landing time.
    • For departures (transfers to the airport), the vehicle will wait for the passenger in the lobby of their hotel or at the agreed meeting point for 15 minutes.

5.4. Provide safe, comfortable, and professional transportation services.

5.5. Provide clear and accurate information about the services offered, as well as the costs involved and any applicable restrictions.

5.6. We strive to adhere to the established schedules, but we are not responsible for delays or unforeseen changes that are beyond our control.

5.7. If the customer does not respond to attempts to contact them and does not show up at the meeting point during the regulated waiting time, this will be considered a no-show by the passenger and they will not be entitled to any refund.

6. Insurance and Liability:

6.1. CisTransfers has the necessary insurance and permits to operate its tourist transportation services.

6.2. CisTransfers is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, accident, or expense incurred by the customer during the service, unless directly attributable to gross negligence on the part of the company.

6.3. Customers must ensure that they have their own travel and health insurance to cover any eventuality that may occur during the service.

7. Changes to the Terms and Conditions:

CisTransfers reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect from the date of publication.
